This blog is about the intersection of curiosity, technology and travel. I call it “Jeff’s Designed Life”. Of course this is ridiculous because my career has been about continuous learning and finding my way but thank you for stopping by.

Previously, I taught at Illinois Institute of Technology, worked in startups and corporate innovation teams and helped entrepreneurs by sharing my experiences. I graduated from the University of Iowa and the Institute of Design.

I’ve had two big goals before I turned 30; travel to each continent and be in a successful startup as early as I could. Still need Antarctica.
